Cleric, Druid, Monk, Paladin, and Sorcerer are currently not available.

All spells below 7th level are permitted, except those specified here. Any subclass with access to another class’s spell list is subject to the same restrictions as that class. See Gear for handling of Material Components.

Ignore starting gear and all tool, weapon, and armour proficiencies gain from class in favour of those given here.

Barbarian

Permitted Subclasses:

  • Berserker
  • Totem Warrior

Armour: Light and Medium
Weapon: Simple and Martial

Starting Gear:

  • Novice Rations (2/2)
  • Novice Torches (8/8)
  • Novice Medicine (1/1)
  • Either (a) a maul or (b) any martial weapon
  • Either (a) a spear or (b) any simple martial weapon
  • A sledgehammer

Fighter

Permitted Subclasses:

  • Battle Master
  • Champion
  • Eldrich Knight

Armour: All
Weapon: Simple, Martial, and Expert

Starting Gear:

  • Novice Rations (2/2)
  • Novice Torches (8/8)
  • Novice Medicine (1/1)
  • Either (a) any armour or (b) any light or medium armour and a sword or (c) any light armour and Novice Arrows (40/40)
  • Either (a) a martial weapon and a shield or (b) two martial weapons
  • Any simple weapon or an Arcane Focus
  • A crowbar

Ranger

Permitted Subclasses:

  • Beast Master
  • Hunter

The following ranger spells are not available:

  • Goodberry (1)
  • Darkvision (2)

Armour: Light and Medium

Rogue

  • Arcane Trickster
  • Assassin
  • Thief

Armour: Light
Weapon: Simple, Bow, Sling, Rapier, Knife

Starting Gear:

  • Novice Rations (2/2)
  • Novice Torches (8/8)
  • Novice Medicine (1/1)
  • Any light armour
  • Either (a) three knives, (b) a rapier, or (c) a bow and Novice Arrows (40/40)
  • Any simple weapon or an Arcane Focus
  • A rope

Bard

Permitted Subclasses:

  • College of Lore
  • College of Valor

College of Lore bards can read and write any language they can speak. The only spell lists available for Additional Magical Secrets are the bard, ranger, warlock, and wizard spell lists.

The following bard spells are not available:

  • Dancing Lights (0)
  • Light (0)
  • Raise Dead (5)

Armour: Light
Weapon: Simple, Rapier, Knife

Starting Gear:

Warlock
